Bf 109 E-3a "L-61"

Bf 109 E-3a project, some 70% complete! A very interesting history comes with this aircraft which crashed on November 28th 1940. On the fuselage there is still the registration "L-61" visible, though it was overpainted with a Balkenkreuz! The same happend to the Yugoslavian markings on the wings. This Bf 109 E-3 appears to be one of the patch ordered by the Yugoslavian airforce in 1939. As it seems, the aircraft had not been delivered but transfered to the German Luftwaffe instead. It crashed when it´s pilot looped the plane close to the ground in a mountainious region of lower Austria.
